Engaging people with biobanking and species conservation "Ever questioned how we’re going to rescue animals that are facing extinction? We invite you to find out more about the biodiversity crisis and how the frozen “ARKS” of the 21st Century are working together to help safeguard the DNA, tissues, and cells of endangered animals and other wildlife, contributing to their conservation. With extinction comes a great loss of information about a species biology, ecology, and evolutionary history. We need you to help find the animals and successfully store their genetic material in our biobank before it’s too late. Become a scientist and help us save a species today! Do you have what it takes?

Reel Physics -
creating science videos workshop "Learn how to make short science tik-tok/reel style videos live in this highly interactive workshop for families.
Direct, plan or star in your very own videos, there is a role for everyone even if you are camera shy. In this workshop you will learn the basics of how to make short form videos like the ones on Tik Tok and Instagram as a family and then set about making some.
We will make videos to break myths about science and showcase some fun science demos and tricks for the world to see.
All equipment will be provided, please do bring your smart phone along if you have one. Please book in family/friends groups including some adults."
