Tenovus Cancer Care: Science and Shopping

Come along to the Tenovus Cancer Care popup shop in the Capitol Shopping Centre, to find out more about the work that the charity supports. Researchers supported by Tenovus Cancer Care will spend the day in their pop-up shop in Capitol Shopping Centre on 28th Feb. You’re free to pop in and find out more about the research they fund, watch the virtual reality lab tour and have a look in the shop.
Rochelle Ahmed is based at Cardiff University. She will chat about her research which is focussed on understanding how a particular protein called Bcl3 is involved in breast cancer metastasis, which will help design new drug therapies to improve cancer outcomes.
