Have you ever wanted to explore the National Museum Cardiff at night? The Museum After Dark event opens up the museum and fills it with wondrous science themed activities and demonstrations.

To mark the 500th anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci’s death National Museum Cardiff will be displaying twelve of his greatest drawings as part of #Leonardo500 – a national celebration of this extraordinary artist.

But Leonardo wasn’t just an artist – he was a scientist, engineer and inventor and much, much more so we are teaming up with Cardiff University’s School of Engineering to provide a family friendly evening of scientific, hands-on activities and entertainment inspired by some of his greatest ideas.

In partnership with Cardiff University’s School of Engineering.

Some of our staff speak Welsh, some are learning and others speak English only. Keep an eye out for the Iaith Gwaith lanyards to see who’s who. If you’re learning Welsh, give it a go!

Gyda’r Hwyr: Leonardo – Celf mewn gwyddoniaeth a gwyddoniaeth mewn celf.

I nodi 500 mlynedd ers marwolaeth Leonardo da Vinci, byddwn yn arddangos deuddeg o ddarluniau gorau’r athrylith fel rhan o #Leonardo500 – dathliad cenedlaethol o’r artist anhygoel hwn.

Ond roedd Leonardo’n fwy na dim ond artist – roedd yn wyddonydd, yn beiriannydd, yn ddyfeisiwr a llawer mwy. Ar y cyd ag Ysgol Beirianneg Prifysgol Caerdydd, byddwn yn cynnal noson o adloniant a gweithgareddau gwyddonol yn seiliedig ar rai o’i syniadau gorau.

Gallwch archebu tocynnau ar gyfer y digwyddiad arbennig hwn o www.eventbrite.co.uk – am ddim!

Ar y cyd ag Ysgol Beirianneg Prifysgol Caerdydd.
